A north Alabama police officer was arrested and charged with sexual misconduct earlier this month, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday. After forwarding the case to the Madison County district attorney, a grand jury indicted Walter on sexual misconduct charges. The complaint filed against Walter showed the officer allegedly had sex with the female victim “without her consent,” according to court records.Walter was taken to the Madison County Jail on Feb. 8 and was released the same day after posting $1,000 bond.
