But these same wealthy nations, he said, “have the resources to narrow the great vaccine gap, if they want to.”

What restrictions were in place the last time COVID cases were so highLast time COVID-19 cases were this high, in summer 2021, several indoor venues mandated masks and vaccine passports were in effect in many large cities.
