The Ohio State Men’s Tennis team won its 18th straight Big Ten regular season title, and 17th Big Ten Tournament title, and they are ITA Indoor Team National Champions for the third time in program history. However, one trophy is still missing at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center -- a national championship .
It’s a long season, it’s hard to stay focused the whole time, but when you get that taste of what a national championship feels like and you’re sitting there watching the other coaches saying, ‘Hey we won, everybody clap it up for us,’ it’s extra motivation to do that next time,” said senior JJ Tracy.
It would mean everything to me, I mean, this is my dream to win a national championship and I’m sure all the other guys on the squad would say the same thing,” said Kingsley. “I think the fact that we all have that same goal as our number one priority will get us over the top this year.”
