Nicole Brown Simpson's Sisters Reveal Why They're Finally Sharing Her Story in New Doc: It's Time 'to Hear Her Voice'
“Other anniversaries just didn’t feel right,” Denise exclusively tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday. “But we decided 30 years was probably the best and the last time to hear her voice and tell her story.”Tanya says, “She’s not a dead body covered with a white sheet at the bottom of the stairs. That’s not Nicole. We want people to see this beautiful human being.”
As for how Nicole’s sisters like to remember the woman who brought light to the world in the 35 years she was here, they imagine she’s up to one thing right now.Dominique has even gotten glimpses of her late sibling over the years. “I’ve had lots of dreams about Nic,” she says. “She’s always in her jeans and a leather jacket, always happy, dancing, social. And she’s always still alive.”Denise says that while Nicole's murder prompted change, she is saddened that it was accompanied by tragedy.
