If there’s one designer who’s not going anywhere , it’s Nicolas Ghesquière. Ghesquière, who took over the role from Marc Jacobs in 2013, debuted his first collection for the luxury Maison on March 5, 2014, and will be celebrating his 10th anniversary this upcoming Paris Fashion Week. To honor this milestone, the designer will be sitting down with 10 special friends and collaborators of the brand for a new series.
Some of those fielded by Ghesquière include his favorite Emma Stone movie, his favorite collection he’s created for the brand, and how his perception of the brand changed from when he first started versus now. “I had the idea that I would be welcomed and supported. Vuitton was very inspiring for me because the story had to be written. Vuitton has a very short history of ready-to-wear. 25 years in totality.
