NFL safety Jermaine Whitehead was cut by the Cleveland Browns on Monday morning after he allegedly threatened to kill fans on Twitter who were critical of his performance in Sunday's game.
While in the locker room after the game, Whitehead began responding to fans' comments on Twitter, which included what some have called alleged threats of harm.Twitter immediately suspended Whitehead's account for the alleged threats, reportedly before Whitehead had even left the locker room following the game.A spokesperson for the Browns on Sunday night called the tweets"totally unacceptable and highly inappropriate.
Way to screw up a multimillion-dollar contract. Sadly this is hardly unexpected from the Browns

🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️so these clowns kneel in protest of violence then threaten to kill fans . 😂😂. I’d hate to be anyone who supported their kneeling ! They all look foolish at this point
If you killed everybody who criticized the Brown's performance on Sunday, it would be a genocide.
Is his twitter account still active?
Wondered if the Browns sent email to whiteheads agent and the agent texted whitehead that he was fired so the the agent wouldn't have to listen to him rant and rave.....
Allegedly? And why no mention of his racist comments in your headline? Just another example of MSM selective narrative.
I guess some people just don’t take criticism well lol
Perhaps they should get him some mental health care before waivers. A sure cry for help.
7NY Ignorance at it's Finest 🤦
Allegedly?
He also made racial remarks that you guys are refusing to report... realDonaldTrump DonaldJTrumpJr
N
why is there ZERO mention of the racist language he used in the threats? Trying to fulfill a narrative?
Again guilty before due process
I mean, not really 'allegedly' here...
He certainly murdered his own career
When keeping it real goes wrong 👌
