Can the movement behind AOC conquer New York? The latest iteration of the movement that boosted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to the national stage will face its first citywide test in 2021, when New Yorkers elect a new mayor It is funny to me when AOC is called an extreme left politician when the reality is one of center / left ideology, as if she were a communist. She's not. In the US that ideological McCarthyism still persists. Is this a race to establish a new bottom? Anyone aware of the obvious decay and massive failure in democrat run cities? And now you are pushing an incompetent socialist, not that there are any competent socialists. Are there any sane, honest journalists left? That's the last thing New York City needs is more progressivism. They are in the slump they're in because of it.
