The reason the drinking age changed to 21 is that we know that the most vital development of the brain happens from 18-21! With kids abusing alcohol AND pot this is a Negative impact in this development!
So 18 year old can be handed m27( an actual weapon of war) and sent to hell holes around the world but an 18 year old here cannot buy a rifle that shoots one bullet per trigger pull?
In my opinion, a person who owns a rifle without Government’s regulatory restrictions, the rifle he owns can be used anytime against any person whether an automatic rifle or semi-automatic rifle , thats encourages to be used against any person. I hope a peace for everyone.

After reading through the Bills, GovKathyHochul nydems why out of the 10 bills passed today arent there harsher penalties for illegal use/carrying of fire arms? Dont you think we need to held people responsible for their actions? Why only people that follow laws get punished?

The last time NY pasted major gun legislation 'The Safe Act' turned out to be a mess. In the end only the criminals who don't follow laws will benefit. GovKathyHochul nydems dont fix Bail Reform that prevents prosecution of criminals.
That’s great, now address the high crime rate in NY city? You have a mayor & DA soft on crime by letting felons out w/out bail!! Murders, armed robberies, looting of businesses are up & cops are hamstrung because of no bail & quick release for criminals.

What does any American need automatic guns? Are they going to line up Doves and shoot them at once? Or Deer? or Moose? Single Round guns should be only ones allowed.

Why…….so when they are caught with one (as most criminals don’t buy them legally) they will get a slap on the wrist and sent back out on the streets to find another one and do what they want? Maybe actually promoting law and order should be a better start!

Imagine being told you are mature enough to joined the military at 18, handle millions of dollars of sophisticated weapons, go to war & die, but not own a rifle until you’re 21. It’s not about gun safety. It’s about control.
