New York investor grabs Carrollton apartment community

The Arium Creekside apartments include 520 rental units and are on Huffines Boulevard near State Highway 121.Atlanta-based Carroll Organization LLC sold the rental community after five years of ownership.

“Exiting the final asset from that 2017 acquisition marks another milestone in our firm’s evolution,” Patrick Carroll, Carroll founder and CEO, said in a statement. “The strong fundamentals we recognized in the D-FW area enabled our team to strategically execute our business plan while leaving sufficient upside for the next owner.”

The Related Cos. has more than $60 billion in assets and has operations in North America, London and Abu Dhabi. One of the company’s biggest projects is the mixed-use Hudson Yards development on Manhattan’s West Side.bought the 13-story International Plaza I office tower at 14201 North Dallas Parkway in Farmers Branch. And last week the developer announced plans to construct two office buildings in Austin.
