Mr. Cuomo, a Democrat, speaking at a news conference, said 24-hour service will be needed beginning May 17 to coincide with New York state lifting a 12 a.m. curfew on outdoor drinking and dining in New York City.
New York Governor Cuomo announced that the MTA will resume 24/7 service beginning May 17th. But with revenue down and debt soaring, no easy solutions are in sight for the MTA.
