Medeiros then ran across the street and entered the ONCOR Distribution warehouse and fired at a forklift driver three times, police said. The forklift driver, Julio Morales, was uninjured. Days after the shooting, he told WFAA he was suffering from insomnia and felt fear at work. According to the woman, Medeiros left Chattanooga “mad and upset” at his father, who had asked him to work. When given an ultimatum, Medeiros chose to fly home to Washington instead, the report said.
“I don’t know what he had going on at home, but you didn’t have to take my dad away from me,” she said. “I really just want justice for my dad.” The woman who reported the missing person’s report said Medeiros suffered from depression, but was never diagnosed with the illness.
