New Jersey school custodian fired for taking box of Christmas candy sues district again

Marro said he told them it was a mistake, but they did not believe him and he was informed that he was caught on camera putting the gift in his car. He said he told the group he had keys to every area of the school and had never stolen anything before.

The vice principal then told Marro he was fired and demanded he turn over his badge and keys, according to the lawsuit. This was rediculous he thought it was a gift he made a mistake he could have gave 20.00 bucks back to the school no harm no fowl rediculous!! He said he wouldn't have taken it if it wasn't for him!! AWFUL the school should b ashmed of themselves!!

Custodian taking a $1 box of candy, automatically fired. Security officer or teacher hits student, paid leave for several weeks to months before anything happens. Sounds fair 🙄

I would have thought and done the same thing! How low can a school administration go?

I hope he wins, anyone would have mistaken a box of chocolate put into the custodial office as a gift , unless they generally stored that kind of thing in the custodial office
