It’s time to prosecute these NJ officials

This is so stupid. Local law enforcement never made it a regular practice to search out immigrants in the first place. The times I have seem ICE get involved is when local LE came across human trafficking, drug smuggling, or something like that.

The same state that released an illegal immigrant that killed 3 American citizens. New jersey will be a crime ridden hell hole. Federal government should also refuse federal funds to the state. Next hurricane they can pay for it themselves

Good. Why the hell should local and state cops be wasting their time and resources chasing down immigrants? Unauthorized presence itself isn’t even a crime (it’s a civil offense) and now ICE will no longer be able to essentially deputize police to do their dirty work for them.
