As a personal friend of Bobby Colomby, director John Scheinfeld asked the fateful question, "What the hell happened to Blood, Sweat & Tears?" and soon learned that a documentary film crew accompanied the band on their Iron Curtain Tour. Though the footage was originally meant to be part of a theatrical documentary, the group never knew what became of it after their return and subsequent fall from grace.
