EXCLUSIVE: Never-before-heard 911 call reveals the chilling moment one of the Turpin daughters turned her parents in. 'My two little sisters right now are chained up right now...they're chained up to their bed.'

David and Louise Turpin, the California parents who garnered national attention for torturing most of their 13 captive children, will face a judge for sentencing on Friday.

The Turpins are expected to each serve an indeterminate sentence of 25 years to life, making them eligible for parole hearings after the minimum time has elapsed, Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin said in February 2019 after they pleaded guilty. The 17-year-old alleged that she and her siblings would be chained up for one or two months and only freed to brush their teeth or use the bathroom, an officer who interviewed the teen testified.

The teen told the 911 dispatcher, "sometimes I wake up and I can't breathe because because how dirty the house is."

Activists: Cop's shooting of white woman treated differentlyMINNEAPOLIS (AP) — When an unarmed white woman who called 911 to report a crime was fatally shot by a black, Somali American police officer in Minneapolis, the racial dynamic seen in many police shooting cases in the U.S. was flipped on its head, and a different narrative emerged. Not really. The news often reports incorrect details in regards to police shootings they choose to cover, leading many people incorrectly believe cops are getting away with murder. 'Victimhood' Is that the only narrative you can spew? This has been investigated for 2 years and it's NOTHING like when an armed young man makes threatening gestures toward the police. But spin away... Because that's what you do. The problem with this is, Cops who kill African Americans seem to get off.

Baby Boomers and the Art of Parenting Adult KidsMany baby boomers are more involved with their grown children than previous generations, and struggle to let them go. Your millennial kids needed a parent not a friend. Now we have generation of messed up young “adults”. If they would have treated us at all like we have emotions, a brain or even a right to choose what we want to be/do in life ..or treated us with humanitarianism for that matter, they would have laid groundwork for having an adult relationship with us. Yet, that was not the case.
