The Nets agreed to trade Mikal Bridges, left, to the Knicks on Tuesday night according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.CLEVELAND, Ohio — One of the Cavaliers’ biggest rivals in the Eastern Conference is reportedly making a massive move on the eve of the 2024 NBA Draft.in exchange for a package including Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks and another first-round pick in 2026 via the Milwaukee Bucks.
Bridges came to Brooklyn via the Phoenix Suns at the 2023 NBA trade deadline in a blockbuster deal that involved Kevin Durant going to the Suns. In 109 games with the Nets over the last two seasons, Bridges is averaging 21.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists. A former Villanova star, Bridges now joins a Knicks team that features three other Villanova players in Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo. All four were part of Villanova’s championship team in 2015-16, and Brunson, Bridges and Hart helped the Wildcats win another national title in 2017-18.
