I listened to the first episode, about 40 minutes, early this morning and I have to say it’s definitely worthwhile. It seems there are going to be three episodes total, with this first one focusing on Geralt, and the other two about Yennefer and Ciri, with some general show information threaded through all of it.
The first episode covers a lot of ground, and talks to executive producer Tomasz Baginski and showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich for most of it, though there are other people threaded in, and a few audio clips from the show, naturally.
- They talk to Cavill’s hair and make-up team about how this is the hardest job they have ever done, as they have to do things like make wigs and make-up that can be worn underwater or drenched in blood., who talks about how he set up the first battle with the spider monster using people holding pipe tubing for legs in his gym.
It’s just a good listen if you’re a fan of the show. The last time Netflix did a Behind the Scenes podcast like this, it was fora major league production for them. Will look forward to the next two episodes, and perhaps more to come down the road.
