Final outcomes were known for 2,634 of them. “Of the patients who died, those with diabetes were more likely to have received invasive mechanical ventilation or care in the ICU compared with those who did not have diabetes,” the researchers wrote.

It’s a matter of Hemoglobin separation resulting from cd4/cd8 ratio imbalances. At this stage O2 pumped into the lungs is ineffective. Need to rebalance hemoglobin for iron ti be able to carry O2 to the body. A balanced Cd4/Cd8 ratio or lowers viral load.
