Nearly 80% of employees say this one thing is more stressful than having too much work:

from The Predictive Index says that 94% of employees with a great boss report having"passion and energy for their jobs." So the answer is: make a change in leadership, get a great boss and reduce stress - right?in leadership have created an increase in stress levels. And 77% of employees who are unhappy with their bosses are, according to Predictive Index, looking to leave their jobs in the next 12 months.: changing leadership does not make the stress go away.

Have you ever experienced working with a boss that everyone says is impossible, but you never have a problem with her? Or what about having a million things to do, but sometimes you don't feel overwhelmed - you just get stuff done and don't worry about it? Then there are times when I don't have a lot to do but I'm really stressed out because, well, don't tell my editor but...

If you put your hand on a hot stove, it will always burn you. Physical objects are governed by the laws of physics: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. But does your boss always make you crazy and stressed? The answer is no. Not all the time. Why? Perhaps because psychology is different than physics.

Consider this scenario: a woman is driving on a busy freeway, and she's cut off by a hard-charging sports car. Luckily, she puts on her brakes in the nick of time and avoids a collision.
