“NCT Universe : LASTART” is a reality show in which trainees competed for the chance to debut as part of a brand-new NCT unit, which will mark the final chapter of NCT’s expansion. SM Rookies Sion and Yushi, who were first
to the public in June, were already confirmed as members of the new unit before the start of the show.On September 6, the survival show aired its finale, in which it revealed the trainees that had made the final debut lineup. The program also surprised viewers by announcing that instead of six members , its new NCT unit would consist of seven members.
