The Big Picture Going international has definitely paid off. CBS announced today that brand-new investigative spin-off NCIS: Sydney has been renewed for a Season 2. The announcement comes on the heels of the massively positive reception that the new series received on its eight-episode debut season back in late 2023. The network decided to order new episodes for the 2024-2025 season. The episode count is yet to be revealed.
In an official statement, executive producer and showrunner for Endemol Shine Australia Morgan O’Neill shared his excitement about the renewal and teased what fans can expect to see down the line:
