Capt. Brett Crozier began to show symptoms of COVID-19 before he was removed from the USS Theodore Roosevelt, The New York Times reported.

The Times' report cited two Naval Academy classmates of Crozier who have a relationship with the officer and his family.relieved of his duty

The letter, which leaked to the media, was sent outside the chain of command and via nonsecure unclassified email. In announcing the decision to remove Crozier from his command, Thomas Modly, acting Secretary of the Navy, said the letter"The captain's actions made his sailors, their families, and many in the public believe that his letter was the only reason help from our larger Navy family was forthcoming, which was hardly the case," Modly said Thursday at the Pentagon."The letter was all over the place. That's not appropriate.

The issue is by releasing the SOS letter in the open and in violation of Chain of command, he placed the entire ship at risk. Now enemy ships knew the ship was vulnerable because so many soldiers were ill and could not perform duties. The ship could have been attacked.

Military has chain of command laws. If you don’t follow, you’re out. It’s hard for civilians like myself to understand. Trump was not involved in his firing, but said he supports the decision.

Much I want his troops feel safe what he did out US and his ship at risk telling world give countries like Iran might take advantage situation

Sad story

I guess a weekend pass for the crew and himself in Singapore had a few parting gifts

Trump only see your interests , inflate market , oil , Dow Jones , uS500 , but he becomes blind to reality.

Maybe this is what people called 'freedom of speech'......

Maybe, just maybe if the Captain had kissed Trumps ass at a dinner or golf match he would had been OK.

We knew something was wrong with him

He should meet with Trump ASAP.

This is a shame
