He ran twice for president, headed a key agency in the closing years of the Cold War and oversaw a “legacy” company founded by his grandfather and whose very existence was mortally threatened by the rise of the Internet.
How did he make critical life choices, especially his decision to take the plunge into running for the White House when he had no direct experience in the political world? There's going to be painful periods, but I just wish there was a way of putting in perspective. One of the most delightful times growing up was realizing you're not gonna be a kid forever. You'll be a grown-up. And that this is not the permanent state of affairs!”
