The matches will be played in stadiums in the suburbs of Salt Lake City. The teams will begin the tournament at the smaller Zions Bank Stadium and play the semifinals and finals in Rio Tinto Stadium, home of the hosting Utah Royals FC., facilities will close immediately if a player or staff member tests positive for the coronavirus.
Not much of a tournament then, eh?
Nobody really cares--The National Women's Soccer League has lower average attendance than Arena Football. The only real interest is in the national team and only against top international opponents. That pays the bills for all pro women's soccer in the US.
It will be such a logistical nightmare to arrange this and protect everyone's safety just so the NWSL can sell some tv advertising spots that I wonder why they bother.
