Superman: Legacy is set to start the new DC Universe in grand style, with the movie beginning to form its cast, which will be anchored by the performances of David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

Nathan Fillion Has Been In Every James Gunn Movie Superman: Legacy is far from the first movie that will see Fillion and Gunn work together, as the duo goes way back. The actor was present in the director's first movie, 2006's Slither, and has continued to appear in every single movie directed by Gunn since.
Superman: Legacy marks the seventh movie collaboration between Gunn and Fillion, with the new Green Lantern actor having appeared in all of Gunn's movies, an impressive record. The only projects directed by Gunn in which Fillion did not appear were DC's Peacemaker series, which will get a season 2 in the new DC Universe as soon as Gunn is done with Superman: Legacy, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+.
Will Michael Rooker Be Cast In Superman: Legacy? While Fillion's casting record with Gunn is impressive, he is not the only actor to have appeared in all of Gunn's films. Michael Rooker has also been working with Gunn since Slither, recently appearing as Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Rooker, like Fillion, had a role in The Suicide Squad, with the actor playing Savant in the film. With Fillion returning in a bigger DC role in Superman: Legacy despite his T.D.K.
