, and Sandro’s cofounders Evelyne and Ilan Chetrite, the cocktail event drew a fashion-heavy crowd to enjoy light bites and libations inside Sandro’s new space, which neighbors the Ralph Lauren, David Yurman, and Louis Vuitton boutiques.
“It’s such a quintessential New York activity to walk down to SoHo with no real intention and to let the stores you walk into pique your inspiration,” Dyer explains, having spent chunks of time in the city for work. At Sandro, it's the Julia Brandão patchwork textile collage that flanks the entrance, the colorful ceramic tiles, and exclusive homeware pieces on offer that are capturing her attention.
Colorful crudités and pomme frites were passed among the buzzy crowd as DJ Isaac Likes transitioned the evening from cocktail hour to dance party with his jazzy beats. Of course, following close behind the frites were flutes filled with bubbly and tall-glass craft cucumber drinks, both of which perfectly washed down the gooey mini grilled cheese sandwiches.
“I’ve always been a fan of the brand and think that Sandro does a really good job of mixing in feminine touches with traditional masculine styling,” Dyer smiled. “For Nancy [Dyer’s character on], her style plays quite a bit to the moment, but even when she is fighting monsters she does it with a feminine flair.”
