“I expect fission surface power systems to greatly benefit our plans for power architectures for the moon and Mars and even drive innovation for uses here on Earth,” Jim Reuter, associate administrator for NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate, said in a statement.
NASA seems more like the Dumb, Blind and Stupid these days! Our own planet is in environmental shambles. So, of course they want to export that same reckless industrialization to other planets. And, I'm sure they'll farm the job out to one of the Tax-Avoidance Billionaires!
