The exoplanet has six to 12 times the mass of Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system.

NASA has released its first image of a planet outside of our solar system.

Astronomers used NASA's James Webb Space Telescope to take a direct image of the exoplanet, described as a "gas giant." NASA said it was found to be considered an interstellar baby at just 15 to 20 million years old. "This is a transformative moment, not only for Webb but also for astronomy generally," said Sasha Hinkley, associate professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, in aNASA said taking direct images of exoplanets is challenging because stars are so much brighter than planets.

NASA's Webb Telescope captures its first direct image of a planet located outside of our solar systemThe exoplanet was first discovered in 2017, but the Webb Telescope was able to capture the clearest images of the exoplanet to date. One little bit of misinformation though. The video describes 'full color images' but the telescope doesn't see the colors of the spectrum. It doesn't see visible light at all. It only sees infrared light. Any 'colors' created in pictures are purely artificial created by NASA. Shame on you for not having aired President Biden’s speech nationwide tonight. You’re nothing but corporate shills. You’re not journalists. You don’t do news. You sell propaganda. You undermine democracy. The irony is that news media are the first to go when fascism takes over.
