The preliminary investigation did not find any information that would suggest the weapon was purchased unlawfully.

Madison Arnold and Kevin RobinsonPENSACOLA, Fla. – The gunman who left three dead and eight injured in a shooting at Naval Air Station Pensacola on Friday used a hunting license to legally purchase the 9mm Glock 45 pistol on July 20 from a federal-firearms-licensed dealer in Florida, the FBI's Jacksonville Division announced Tuesday.

The shooter, a 21-year-old second lieutenant in the Saudi Royal Air Force, qualified to purchase the firearm using a valid hunting license, and"he may have qualified under other exceptions as well," the division tweeted.Pensacola shooting:Under U.S.code, foreign nationals who have been lawfully admitted to the USA can purchase and possess a gun under a few conditions:

If they are an official representative of a foreign government who is accredited with the U.S. government; if they are accredited with a government-partnered international organization headquartered in the USA; or if they are in transit to or from a country where they are accredited.

FAILED TO REPORT: Multiple 9/11 hijackers lived and trained at US military bases including PENSACOLA. Still nothing has been done about it. Treason

Some people would say 'This shows that we need more firearm laws!' I disagree. When 99.9%+ of these are never used in nor linked to a crime? No. What we need is a focus on human control and getting people like the Pensacola shooter off the streets before they do these things.

OK why did a person not an American citizen have the right to buy a gun? Are the US gun laws that bad where he did not have to follow a more stringent back ground check or one at all? Someone should explain to the victim's families how this happened.

Maybe we should limit Middle Eastern military officers going to our military institutions. I remember in both BOLC and MCCC the Saudis and Kuwaitis being lazy entitled officers.

Yet leftist want more laws?

The Pensacola gunman bought his weapon legally, sources sayThe Saudi air force officer legally bought the gun he used to kill three sailors at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida, according to two law enforcement sources You shouldn’t be surprised! Most of the terrorist from 911 were Saudi’s. Yet we continue to treat them as allies... it’s because of that... ...and I believe it was the immediate past POTUS that declared the Ft. Hood shooting “work place violence”. Was that a terror cell on US soil? Were this a rehearsal for a larger event? Why are the trump administration defending this group of Saudis?
