Friday starts off cloudy, but forecasters say to expect breaks of sun in the afternoon as highs climb into the upper 60s along the Jersey Shore and the mid 70s elsewhere, theClouds again thicken overnight as temps fall into the 50s with some light showers possibly starting before sunrise on Saturday. Some scattered showers are possible on a mainly cloudy Saturday when temps top out in the upper 60s.
None of the rain should be heavy, nor are there chances of severe storms. Overnight lows into Sunday morning will again be in the 50s. High should reach the low to mid 70s on Friday and the upper 60s to low 70s on Saturday in northeastern New Jersey.Sunday begins a stretch of sunnier, warmer weather in New Jersey. There could be lingering showers early Sunday, but expect the sun to break through by the afternoon. Highs will reach the low 70s, though it again should be a bit cooler close to the coast.
