teacher was arrested on charges of criminal sexual contact and child endangerment for alleged incidents involving a now-former student, authorities said Friday.
Joseph A. Scalfaro engaged in inappropriate conduct with the student both on and off school property, according to a news release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Scalfaro, 47, of Absecon, also faces an official misconduct charge, the prosecutor’s office said. He was arrested in Atlantic City and taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
