Keashen said the girl was watching the fireworks when two groups of teenagers got into an argument and a shot was fired. A revolver believed used in the shooting was later recovered, Keashen said. The shooting prompted an angry response from at least one elected official who oversees the Camden County Police Department., a Democrat, said one of the shooters has ties to Philadelphia.
“So to all you thugs and criminals in Philadelphia thinking that your lawlessness can be spread elsewhere, stay at home. Stay out of Camden County,” Cappelli added.
