Bergen County native Bill Einreinhofer hopes his documentary 'China: Frame by Frame' interests viewers in the country.

Documentarian Bill Einreinhofer narrates his film, "China: Frame by Frame."New Jersey native Bill Einreinhofer approaches his latest documentary, “China: Frame by Frame,” with a humility rarely found on TV.

After a montage of China’s turbulent events during the first half of the 20th Century, the documentarian, who narrates this one-hour film airing Thursday at 9 p.m. on WNET’s The World Channel, appears onscreen. “My name is Bill Einreinhofer, and I doubt you’ve ever heard of me despite a 40-year career in television,” he says.
