So just on the human level, I connect with that struggle.” A woman reported that she was approached by two men wearing ski masks, one with a gun, at the 12300 block of NE 130th Lane. The tone of the argument changed when one of the two men, both in their late 30s, pulled out what is described in the police report as a “sword or large knife” and slashed the other.When police arrived at the scene, they took both men to the hospital, detaining the man who had been shot. He has since been booked for second-degree assault.Two 16-year-olds have allegedly shoplifted underwear from the South Hill Mall in broad daylight.
