This seems like it has a chance of being good. From the trailer, it looks like it changes enough to justify its existence as a new movie (unlike The Lion King and Aladdin) while keeping the spirit of the original intact (unlike Maleficent, which defangs an iconic female villain).

'Looking for nostalgia' is the only reason to watch these remakes from Disney, because they haven't been good imo.
It'll make a ton of money, and then people will complain AFTER they already paid to see it and the studio got their money. As is the case with all the other live action versions.
