Democratic presidential contender Seth Moulton on Sunday urged fellow candidate Joe Biden to apologize to Anita Hill for his role in Clarence Thomas' confirmation hearings for the Supreme Court.
"I think she was treated terribly," the Massachusetts congressman said of Hill. "Joe Biden is a mentor and a friend of mine; he's a great American. Everybody makes mistakes — I do think that was a mistake, though, and I do think he should apologize.
But in a later interview with The New York Times, Hill conveyed her dissatisfaction with Biden's call, saying he had "set the stage" for the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court in the face of allegations of sexual misconduct.
Who gives a damn what Seth Moulton says?
He has apologized. Maybe the people that voted to confirm Thomas are the ones that need to apologize to Ms. Hill. I think apologies are needed for Ms. Ford also.
