More than a third of military families who participated in Blue Star Families' tenth annual Military Family Lifestyle Survey said they have no one to ask for a favor. The poll -- the largest and most comprehensive of its kind -- found that isolation from family and friends has grown as a key stressor, ranked even higher by military families than deployments.
It's dead on. I'm a veteran on a small pension and THIS WEEK, I'm worried about 1- being able to make it to the food pantry. 2- paying my rent and Bills Many people wrongly believe that veterans have a ton of benefits/programs to fall upon. We DON'T. 'Support our troops!' Right
Well duh military or veterans seem to become outcasts for some reason and they often get left behind and or alone with no real place to go for help hence those who prey on them!!
