Dozens of more migrants from Texas arrived on a bus Monday in Manhattan — with several getting off already donning iconic American athletic apparel, including a New York Yankees cap and a Michael Jordan jersey.
The first migrant who hopped off the bus Monday was a woman who smiled and waved at reporters. Some of the men, meanwhile, wore American clothing and accessories, including a Yankees hat, a mask emblazoned with the US flag and a Chicago Bulls Jordan jersey. The lone child, an 8-year-old girl, held onto a woman with one hand while clutching a “Save the Children” tote bag in another. She was wearing a pink mask and a matching pink hair tie.
