The mother of a Kentucky teenager says her daughter was expelled from her Christian school for celebrating “attitudes that are counter to [its] philosophy” after she happily posed in a rainbow sweater with a rainbow cake while celebrating her birthday.

This girl repeatedly defied the rules of her school. She signed a code of conduct prior to enrolling, and so did her mom. So, those of you who want to crucify this school, remember: she signed up for those rules and then cried when she was kicked out for breaking them. Dumb.

I grew up in the church and I was taught a rainbow Was God's promise never again to destroy all life on Earth by flood. The school owes this girl an apology, sometimes a rainbow is just a rainbow. And if it isn't to her, publicly trying to out her isn't cool either!
