The parents of a mentally ill man who was killed by an off-duty LAPD officer inside a Southern California Costco described the sequence of events that led to all three of them being shot.
Paola French described what happened next as her son pushing or shoving the officer, while other witnesses described it as a punch or a strike, Galipo said. Sanchez then allegedly fired at least eight rounds, striking all three family members, Galipo said. A man inside Costco stood and prayed over Russell French as he lied on the ground bleeding, he said.
Sanchez then withdrew his weapon and fired,"aiming right at Mr. French, who was the threat to him," Salzman said.
This is total bullshit. That is no law enforcing officer. He needs to be tried for homicide. Cold blooded killer

Off duty or not what a frightening thought I have now that I am shopping in a family store with someone who is carrying a loaded weapon. This officer set out to take down the entire family
1) allegedly fired 8 shots? He emptied his gun on these people. 2) I do believe firing a gun in such close proximity to his child was a bigger threat than the big man knocking him down. 3) he will face no charges, his gun has not been removed from him.
