It's so sad to see that our country has openly and undeniably become a house divided. This should be more a humanity incident than a race one. In whatever condition, a mother will seek to defend her child and keep him in her possession, no matter race or species.
No, what I saw was a police officer overreacting, and a mother also reacting poorly without thinking about the safety of her kid. In this case they both get poor marks for acting before thinking.
