Jason Heyward hit a walk-off solo home run in the 11th inning to lift the Chicago Cubs to a 3-2 win over the visiting Miami Marlins on Wednesday night.

Andrew Benintendi hit a solo homer with two outs in the top of the 12th inning to give visiting Boston a victory over Baltimore in the finale of a three-game series. Ramirez had been 1-for-10 lifetime against Herrera prior to recording his fourth career walk-off hit and first since Sept. 17, 2016 versus Detroit.Wilmer Flores hit a two-out RBI single in the 13th inning as Arizona avoided being swept for the first time this season with a win against Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Hunter Pence hit a tying pinch-hit grand slam in the eighth for Texas, which avoided being swept in the two-game series as well as the four-game season series after Pittsburgh won both games last week in Arlington.Right-hander Brandon Woodruff allowed just one run in six innings and was backed by three homers, as host Milwaukee beat slumping Washington, completing a three-game sweep.

Mitch Haniger, Edwin Encarnacion and Healy homered for Seattle, which upped its season total to 74. Healy also doubled three times and collected four hits as Seattle totaled 14 hits.Cesar Hernandez homered, doubled and drove in three runs to lift visiting Philadelphia past St. Louis. Jonathan Lucroy hit a solo homer and an RBI double for the Angels. David Fletcher also homered, but Shohei Ohtani remained hitless in his second game this season. Ohtani, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery, went 0-for-3 and was hit by a pitch, leaving him 0-for-7 overall.Jorge Polanco matched his career best with five hits, including a two-run home run, and Kyle Gibson set a career high with 11 strikeouts as visiting Minnesota defeated Toronto.
