realjohnbacon Pls write a story that examines the national reaction to an alleged white-on-black hate crime vs murders that occur daily in major U.S. cities. A LOT of people politicized this tragedy that otherwise would’ve been silent if the shooter had been identified as black from start.
Folks, it wasn't this media making this shit up...it was the mother of this little girl. She was calling this racially motivated. She said it was a white skinny dude in a hoodie. Why was she purposely lying?

To the people wondering why the mother pointed to white guys in a pick-up: It’s possible that in the chaos it is the first vehicle she saw. It isn’t really her fault that the media ran with it as a hate crime ratings / web traffic driver.
So was the suspect identification. Sketches & descriptions of a “white man” with a slender build SHOUTED in the headlines. Now 2 BLACK suspects arrested & the FAKE NEWS enemyofthepeople are as MUTED on that FACT as can be. Race-baiting cowards.
