A Missouri hunter shot a hiker in his chest this past weekend, claiming that he believed the man to be a turkey.

The incident, which is being called a"freak accident" by a witness, took place on the Lewis Trail Loop in the Weldon Spring Conservation area in St. Charles County.

Medical first responders used all-terrain vehicles to access the injured hiker, who has just now been identified by police as 47-year-old James Cay of O'Fallon, Missouri, and eventually employed a helicopter to airlift him to a nearby hospital. He was in serious condition after being shot in the chest.

She explaining that she saw Cay laid out on a stretcher covered in a yellow tarp and looking unresponsive, while he was being tended to by first responders. She also said a man, dressed in camouflage, presumably Polson, stood nearby.

This is laughable 🤣🤣. This is cartoon style reality. Like Leghorn Foghorn.

He might have been a jive turkey

Sure he did.

Looked like one of them turkeys?

Tragic story, but you have a picture of an elk hunter with a rifle (turkeys are hunted with shotguns), and the video at the top of the page is some hillbilly jerk shooting bears in their den. Can you pick a lane newsweek ?

I'm sorry, what?!

What race was that turkey he shot? 🤔

Tags I couldn't see or know about where changed several times, already, by the time I entered University. That was a dupe to fool various classes of targets. Is it legit sport for Deep State?

Because turkeys are always 6 feet tall.
