Missing couple found shot dead on walking trail; suspect still at large

A missing couple from Concord, New Hampshire, has been found shot to death on a remote walking trail after several days of searching.

"Anyone who saw the Reids that Monday afternoon, anyone walking on those trails, anyone who has any information related to their disappearance or deaths are asked to contact the Concord Police Department," Senior Assistant Attorney General Geoffrey Ward said at a press conference Friday.

Why don’t people take caution and protect themselves or loved ones just in case, how about wild animals, make up a reason to conceal carry.the world is changing and dirtbags are increasing

When hiking the woods is wise to pack a handgun and make sure is within quick reach. Shoot first and remember dead man don't talk. So is your word against theirs. Always stay safe and never walk together keep a safe distance from each other, this will avoid both being ambush.

They didn’t lose their lives just taking a walk. They lost their lives because any mentally ill or psychopath can get a hold of a gun in the United States of America. We have the right to bare arms, hence we can pull the trigger at anyone we want.

No such thing as the “safest” place anymore. Wrong place at wrong time and in the presence/vicinity of the wrong person(s). And probably a hate crime being that the victims were an interracial couple.
