UCLA commit Luke Duncan, who threw for 42 touchdowns during his senior season, tossed three scoring passes in a rally that came up short. San Marin running back Charlie Smith had two rushing touchdowns, and quarterback Dominic Ingrassia threw a touchdown during the Mustangs’ epic quarter. Duncan and the Matadors scored three touchdowns in the second half, but could not overcome their previous mistakes.
