Microsoft has confirmed that it is making a more compact version of its highly anticipated next-gen Xbox Series X console.
"Let's make it official! Xbox Series S | Next-gen performance in the smallest Xbox ever," the company tweeted from the official Xbox Twitter account overnight on Monday. Microsoft also revealed that the Series X will cost $299, similar to the price of a Nintendo Switch. Xbox promised that more details will be shared soon, but included a picture of the white and black console design. No disc drive was visible.
The Xbox Series X console launches in November. Microsoft has yet to share the price of the device. At the 2019 Game Awards, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox,a new console, the PlayStation 5, during the holiday season.Looking forward to sharing more! Soon. Promise.
