Millionaires and billionaires don’t want to give up their money

Because it costs more

He is taking a que from Bezos!

Because rising wages don’t increase housing affordability automatically... case in point: San Francisco

🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞😂😂😂😂😂

Because they have plenty of cash and other resources to do both, and are doing both. It’s not either/or. Really Forbes, try to avoid the dumbed down clickbait.

The people who work at Microsoft can afford housing. However, there is a growing amount of people who can't afford housing so they turn to rent. People like amazon help to create affordable housing too because they know wealth comes by way of saving.

Because as you increase wages, housing prices continue to increase. That becomes an unfair transfer of money to the real estate industry, abusive owners.

No place to live, people living far away, commuting or renting rooms, rvs. Sure increase wages, housing goes up too.

Well, then they would not get the press accolades now will they.

Creating jobs and increasing wages doesn’t help the affordability of housing. That’s an infrastructure/market issue not a labor issue

Because there is more money to be made in housing. That’s an easy answer. Gifts bring in more money from the community and to the community.

GOOD If they REALLY want to help then they should invest in building homes for the needy and providing people with jobs they can actually depend on financially. Any time you start working with the government, whatever money you pledge will not be used towards the cause you wish. Shouldn’t be their job to do this, raise taxes on the rich & have marginal rates, cut money from military as its bloated), & reinvest in the people the government personnel swore to support when they took the job.
