The Bing sidebar was initially only available in dev versions of Edge, but it’s nowThe new sidebar appears as a big Bing button at the top left of Edge, and hovering over or clicking on it will activate the new Bing chatbot experience.

This new Bing sidebar in Edge hints at where Microsoft could go with its AI features for Windows, Office, and elsewhere. its own plans to add ChatGPT-like AI to Gmail and Google Docs, allowing Google Workspace users to automatically generate emails, documents, and more.. the design is a bit messed up tho 😒

since bing with gpt-ai launched more widely, it has become more common for it to think that today is 2021, both in the sidebar and through the bing web app itself. it also feels much more restrained and less accurate than the earlier preview version 🥺😧🤔

The verge is using Internet explorer it seems. Little late on the news

Yeaaaaaaaaah

And I am loving it. So much fun and easy to use without switching tabs 🫰

AI side bar is incredible i kid you now. It can read articles in real time and hold discussions on the page your are currently viewing.

Gonna be a good day when all of this AI chat bot fad stuff disappears into the ether. It took about 6 months for it to happen to NFTs. I’m praying.

Another reason to never use this browser.

Omg I can't wait to continue never using any of these things

bet microsoft is hoping they get some major market share from integrating the AI chatbot. Heck they’d sell their soul if they could surpass google chrome in marketshare.
