Following the arrest of six men earlier this week for their alleged involvement in a plot to kidnap Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer before the November election, Dar Leaf, Barr County sheriff, said that he doesn't have any regrets about being on stage with one of the suspects at a recent demonstration and suggested the Wolverine Watchmen militia members may have been merely planning to apprehend Gov. Whitmer to execute a citizen's arrest....

Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf Leaf stood alongside an armed William Null at a rally protesting Gov. Whitmer's stay-at-home order in May.the governor's quarantine measures were akin to the mass arrest of the state's residents and called a local barber, who opened despite the governor's order, a"little version of Rosa Parks."
Leaf, a 30-year veteran of law enforcement, praised Michigan militia members working security detail at that event,"It's just a charge, and they say a 'plot to kidnap,' and you got to remember that. Are they trying to kidnap? Because a lot of people are angry with the governor, and they want her arrested,"
."So are they trying to arrest or was it a kidnap attempt? Because you can still in Michigan if it's a felony, make a felony arrest.", Leaf insisted the Null brothers were"always very nice and respectful," and that"we really, really should be careful, trying to try them in the media." Leaf continued:"It doesn't say if you are an elected office that you're exempt from that arrest.
Just to clarify, Prop 16 is to allow government preference based on race and gender, and racial preference equals to racial discrimination. It is NOT affirmative action. It is power grabling by govornment. Vote NoOnProp16.
Why is this terrorist-defending Sherriff speaking at white supremacists rallies in the first place?! And in uniform! Recall, fire, vote out... whatever it takes rogue cops like this. Outrageous! I thought Michiganders were nice people. Apparently not.

Dar Leaf needs to be relieved of duty.
The left is anti-prison but can’t see that the governor turned her state into a giant prison. Militias have been waiting for a time like this to keep their government from acting like tyrants. Not well executed by the wolverines, but not unexpected either.
